I haven't used the dropper yet. I was disappointed that it doesn't have a bottle cap so I can screw it onto a bottle, but bottle necks come in different sizes anyway. I need to look more closely at it to see if it can be used with a bottle cap that already has a dropper incorporated into it. It was shipped inside a tube, which minimised the risk of my uncaring postie damaging it.
